Finnair Cargo adds to Brussels link

FINNAIR Cargo is adding a second weekly Airbus A340 service to its Brussels route from 25 June.
"Finnair Cargo has operated its Brussels cargo hub for 13 months now, with promising steady development and therefore, it is very important that we continue to strengthen the operation by adding this fourth weekly widebody/freighter frequency,"states Juha Järvinen, managing director.
With the four frequencies Finnair Cargo can now offer a consistent flow of connections from central Europe to 13 Asian gateways with fast transit via Helsinki, he adds.
“During the first 12 months of the Brussels cargo operations our central Europe trade flows have seen revenue grow by more than 35 per cent in revenue, with export tonnage growth of 20 per cent from Germany and 252 per cent in Belgium.
