AerCaribe to add another B737-400F

Aeronautical Engineers, Inc. (AEI) has signed a contract to provide Columbian-based AerCaribe with a B737-400SF freighter conversion.

The aircraft (MSN 24130) is onsite and work has commenced, with modification touch labor performed by AEI partner Commercial Jet at its Dothan, Alabama facility. This freighter conversion represents the second AEI freighter for AerCaribe.

According to its website, AerCaribe currently operates B737-400, An-32 and An-26 aircraft.

The aircraft can carry multiple ULDs, including:(10) 88”x125” ULDs in P1 to P10 or (8) 96”x125” in P1 to P10 and (1) 53”x88”x64” Pallet or AEP/AEH or 60.4”x61.5” AKE/LD3 or 61.5”x88”x56”H AYY in P11.
