Aircraft lessor AerSale has placed an order for six additional B757-200 conversions from Precision.

The deal includes four options and brings AerSales total number of commitments with Precision to 16.

AerSale began converting its first 757-200 in January 2021, and the sixth unit will be inducted this month.

Later this year, AerSale will begin inducting additional 757-200 conversions in HAECO Xiamen.

Precision recently announced that it would expand its conversion capacity through a deal with HAECO Xiamen.

Gary Warner, president of Precision Aircraft Solutions, said: “Precision is pleased to work with AerSale for these additional 757-200PCF conversions. We value the ongoing business from AerSale, and the 757-200PCF continues to be a reliable and efficient workhorse for e-commerce and general cargo customers.

“Precision has substantially increased production capacity for both A321 and 757 conversion programmes to meet the unprecedented demand.”

In 2020, AerSales entered into a a purchase agreement to acquire 24 Boeing 757-200 passenger aircraft that it will convert into freighters.
