American starts to serve Memphis

American Airlines Cargo announced on October 6 that it has started operating cargo services to and from Memphis, Tennessee, including its Priority Parcel Service, ConfirmedFS and ExpediteFS offerings.
In its current timetable which came into effect on October 2, AAC is operating five flights a day from Memphis to Dallas-Fort Worth using Airbus 319s. It also operates two connecting truck services from Memphis each weekday – one to DFW and one to Chicago O’Hare.
The airline has appointed Air General to provide handling services at Memphis.
