Asia Pacific Airlines continues cargo fleet expansion

Precision Aircraft Solutions has completed its third 757-200 passenger-to-freighter conversion for Asia Pacific Airlines (APA).

Conversion of MSN 25140 was completed at Flightstar Aviation in Jacksonville, Florida, and will be put into service soon after redelivery.

The Asia Pacific Airlines 757-200PCF will enter service and support the airline’s expanding Pacific Asia network.

Precision president Gary Warner said: “The Pratt Powered 757-200PCF is a proven product for the most demanding operations and we are happy to see Asia pacific’s success with this variant. We see an abundance of quality feedstock on the horizon and thrilled that APA has found the 757 to be so versatile, available and affordable.”

Asia Pacific Airlines President, Adam Ferguson, added: “We are very pleased to take delivery of N688SL as our newest addition to the fleet.  The Precision conversion has proven very successful for Asia Pacific and the 757F is a very capable aircraft for the growing e-commerce sector in the demanding Pacific region, operating from Honolulu and from our Headquarters in Guam.”

When the aircraft is delivered, it will operate three B757-200PCFs and a single B727-200F.
