Biggest-ever airfreight piece for Martin Bencher

Freight forwarder Martin Bencher has handled its largest-ever airfreight charter move.

Its project department in Denmark and Martin Bencher Airfreight hired an Antonov AN-124 in May to fly an outsize shipment from Scandinavia to Xinjiang Province in western China for a waste-to-energy boiler project.

The cargo comprised six pieces and a weighing a total of 60 tons with the heaviest item weighing 29 tons.
