HAE wins 2Excel freighter contract

UK based-HAE has been appointed to represent 2Excel Aviation as it commences commercial freighter operations with a B727-2S2F fleet.
Neville Karai, director at HAE Group, said: “Having Boeing 727F aircraft based at Robin Hood Airport, Doncaster, offers the industry an opportunity to have reliable and cost effective charter and network solutions that can be deployed worldwide.
"In addition, the 2Excel team are specialists in hard to operate locations and handling challenging projects.”
The commercial freighter operations were formed after 2Excel won the contract to support Oil Spill Response Ltd in emergency situations within the oil and gas industries.
2Excel was founded in 2005 by two Royal Air Force Harrier pilots, Andy Offer and Chris Norton. Both left the RAF in 2006 having commanded front-line Harrier Squadrons on operations. Offer had also led the Red Arrows display acrobatics team.
Offer said: “HAE has taken time to understand our core competencies, help us focus on the markets we should look to address and they work as part of our team.
“We now look forward to becoming known as a quality service provider within commercial cargo operations, as we have in some of the bespoke aviation activities we have been doing since 2006.”
