MasAir targets pharma with CEIV certification

Mexican freighter operator MasAir Cargo is targetting the pharma market after it achieved IATA CEIV certification.

The carrier said it obtrained the certification in March after a process involving training, assessments and a final audit. The certification is valid for three years.

Luis Sierra, chief executive of MasAir, said: “By achieving IATA’s CEIV Pharma Certification, we show our commitment to our customers confirming that our internal processes, organisational structure and infrastructure meet the highest requirements for the transportation of temperature-controlled and time-sensitive products within our network.

“The pharmaceutical industry has always been an important part our business and with the recently obtained certification we aim to importantly expand our pharma market, targeting a wider range of products and customers.”
