Nauru orders second B737 freighter conversion

Aeronautical Engineers, Inc. (AEI) will provide Nauru Airlines with a second 10-pallet position B737-300SF freighter conversion.

Modification work on the aircraft (MSN 25607) will commence at Commercial Jet’s Miami, Florida facility in mid-January 2021 and is scheduled for re-delivery in May 2021.

“Like the first freighter conversion announced in March of this year, the completed AEI B737-300SF freighter will be used to support charter flights in the region, transporting fresh food, mail, medicines, and other freight,” AEI said.

The AEI-converted, 10-pallet configuration B737-300SF freighter offers a maindeck payload of up to 19.5 tonnes.
