Second Zhengzhou flight for Cargolux Italia

Cargolux Italia has introduced a second weekly flight between Milan Malpensa and its Chinese hub at Zhengzhou. Flight C8 8777 leaves Milan on Sunday mornings at 11:50 and, like the existing service, operates via Novosibirsk, Russia. When Cargolux Italia introduced the first Zhengzhou flight in June, it also marked the first commercial Cargolux service to Russia.
It is also the only direct air cargo connection between Milan and Zhengzhou, the fastest growing cargo airport worldwide and an important gateway to China. Commodities moved include Italian fashion goods, machinery and mechanical spare parts.
Cargolux Italia chief executive Pierandrea Galli said: “With our second service from Milan, Cargolux Italia and the Cargolux Group can significantly boost its presence in both markets. It also underlines Cargolux Italia status as the main all-cargo carrier at Malpensa and main supporter of our Italian customers.”
