“It’s a very cost-effective service for customers who need things doing fast,” explained Simon Chorlton, business owner of Speedy Freight’s Hull and Doncaster franchises. “Our system guarantees clients a premium service with only a marginal extra cost compared with a planned, shared-platform logistics service that would typically deliver within 48 hours.”

Chorlton added: “We have access to 4,000 vehicles around the country and we can deliver anything from an urgent medical sample to essential bricks to keep a construction site going. We only carry one client’s goods on board at a time and we go direct from the collection address to the delivery address, ensuring consignments travel safely and securely.”
