Steder Group arranges airlifts for 300 tons power equipment to Gabon

Steder Group B.V, member of the Worldwide Project Consortium WWPC for The Netherlands, successfully secured urgent cargo charters on behalf of Aggreko International. The project was managed through the Steder Groups branch office in Dubai.
Aggreko, the world leader in the provision of temporary power and temperature control solutions was requested by Shell Gabon to assist them with temporary power.
Two consecutive flights by the mighty Antonov-124 cargo plane were chartered with Abu Dhabi based Maximus Air Cargo. The loading of the power equipment took place  at the new airport in Dubai (DWC) Al Makthoum International for the final destination Libreville, Gabon.
Another 2 x B-747’s  with spares and ancillaries were chartered by the Steder groups team with Etihad Airlines from Sharjah to Gabon.
"Steder Group, is the WWPC member for The Netherlands since 2001, and has already chartered more than 20 x An-124’s and 50 x IL-76’s during the last 15 years for Aggreko International for urgent power supplies" said Mr. Rob de Korte, Director of the company.
