Swissport and Cargolux ink global agreement

Swissport has become the preferred supplier of cargo and ramp handling services at selected destinations for European-based freighter airline Cargolux.

“Swissport and Cargolux are a perfect fit, as both companies set their priorities on high-quality services and reliability as a partner”, says Nils Pries Knudsen, head of global cargo at Swissport. “We are very much looking forward to build and expand our common network even further.”
Dirk Reich, Cargolux president and chief executive, said: “The close cooperation with Swissport is a great pleasure and a commitment to provide even better services to our demanding customers”, says
Luxembourg-based Cargolux operates a fleet of 11 Boeing 747-8 freighters and 11 Boeing 747-400 freighters.
