Luxembourg-based aircraft trading and leasing company Vallair has delivered a Boeing 737-400F to ASL Aviation Holdings (Ireland).
The aircraft recently went through a freighter conversion followed by a “C” Check with integration maintenance performed in the US. The lease term is for 48 months with a 24-month extension option.
Gregoire Lebigot, president and chief executive of Vallair, stated: “This is the first aircraft Vallair is leasing to ASL. We are pleased to have this freshly converted Boeing B737-400 aircraft delivered to ASL, with whom we have a strong relationship on the MRO side.
"We recently announced being the launch customer of the Airbus 321-200 P2F cargo program and this transaction is indicative of the huge potential we see in the P2F conversions market in which we are committed to becoming a global leader.”
ASL’s chief executive, leasing, David Andrew, said “ASL is now the largest operator of B737-400 freighters in Europe and we are continuing to add to our fleet to best-serve our customers.
"The Vallair B737-400F is a welcome addition to ASL’s fleet and we look forward to a close and mutually beneficial relationship in the years ahead.”
