WCS17: Smart new look for Jettainer

Lufthansa’s Jettainer subsidiary unveiled a new logo and strapline at the IATA World Cargo Symposium on 14 March. The company name is now backed up by the phrase: “Smart • ULD • Pooling • People”, emphasizing the outsourced ULD management firm’s intelligent solutions, as well as its employees.
ULDs themselves are being fitted with an increasing amount of digital technology to transmit a constant stream of information regarding their position, status or even temperature. This, coupled with the widespread use of mobile devices, has helped to make the processes faster and more efficient.
