It’s time to start preparing: Awards entries open on October 1

All the winners from the 2019 Cargo Airline of the Year Awards

Air Cargo News is delighted to announce that our prestigious annual awards for 2020 will open for entry on October 1 – so it’s time to start thinking about your entry.

Submissions are reviewed by a panel of experts. The award categories are as follows:

  • Ground handler of the year
  • Charter broker of the year
  • Cargo hub of the year
  • GSSA of the year
  • Freighter operator of the year
  • The innovation award

When the awards open for entry next month, interested companies have until December 6 to submit their entries using our online entry system

Judges will be looking for companies to demonstrate how they have outperformed their competitors, offering innovative and market leading solutions.

More details on how to enter and the criteria for each category will be available when the entry system opens.

After the entries have been received they will be assigned to the judges for scoring. The finalists will be revealed on 21 January 2020, with the winners announced at the Awards.

As well as our entry categories, the awards have five best regional airline categories which are voted for online by freight forwarders, with thousands of votes recorded each year.

And there is the ultimate industry accolade for more than three decades, the Cargo Airline of the Year award. Votes will open early next year.

This year’s event saw more than 240 industry figures attend the glittering awards ceremony to honour and celebrate those companies who have invested in providing great customer service, operational excellence and innovative technologies.

A list of winners from this year’s awards can be found here, while a photo gallery from the night is here.
