LOT Polish Airlines achieves IATA CEIV Pharma certification

The cargo division of LOT Polish Airlines has achieved IATA CEIV Pharma certification following a “multi-stage” audit process that initially began in 2018.

The certification marks the carrier’s capability of handling pharma and temperature-sensitive cargo at IATA’s globally recognised standard.

In addition, from April 5 to June 29, LOT Polish Airlines, transported 23,500 cu m of personal protective equipment (PPE) on 172 flights from China (Shanghai and Wuhan) to Poland. The cargo was used in hospitals as part of the fight against Covid-19.
