Lufthansa Cargo: load factor increase in September

German flag-carrier Lufthansa recorded an improvement of 2.7 percentage points in its cargo load factor during September, compared to the same month of last year. Freight capacity was up 1.9% while revenue tonne-km (RTK) increased by 6% over September 2016.
Looking at the year to date, with capacity up 2.7% and sales up 8%, the cargo load factor rose by 3.4 percentage points in comparison to the first nine months of 2016.
