Oman Air has selected Air Liaison as its new General Services Agent (GSA) for cargo operations in the UK.

Oman Air currently operates daily passenger flights from London Heathrow to its hub in Muscat using a Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner aircraft.

From Muscat, the airline offers connections to destinations in the Middle East, Indian Subcontinent and Asia Pacific. It also operates a dedicated B737-800 freighter.

“We are thrilled to welcome Air Liaison to the UK GSA role,” said Mike Duggan, head of Oman Air Cargo. “Their extensive experience and proven track record in the UK air cargo industry make them an ideal partner to support our growth and strengthen our footprint in this important region.”

Oman Air began its first ever freighter service between its home hub of Muscat International Airport and GMR Hyderabad International Airport in India in December last year, using its first cargo aircraft, a 737-800BCF that was delivered in November 2023.

The airline appointed Duggan as head of cargo in July as part of efforts to grow its air cargo business.

Air Liaison is part of the HAE Group.
