United Cargo extends TempControl to India

UNITED CARGO is extending its temperature-sensitive service reach to include Delhi and Mumbai.
It increases the number of certified locations to 49 in its worldwide network. 
United serves Delhi and Mumbai with daily, B777 non-stop flights.
"Delhi and Mumbai are particularly noteworthy additions to United’s TempControl network," says, Mary Tussing, manager of specialty sales at the carrier.
"The market for drugs and medicines in India is expected to grow quickly as improved healthcare becomes a priority for the government and its citizens.
“The country also has exciting potential as a pharmaceuticals export market,” she adds.
The generic drug segment will increase in the future as more popular medicines lose their patent protection, the airline notes.
