Chapman Freeborn appoints Portuguese agent

CHARTER specialist Chapman Freeborn (CF) has appointed ALS Portugal Aviation & Logistics Solutions as its exclusive representative for the Portuguese market.
CF has worked closely with the management team of Cascais-based ALS Portugal for a number of years and the new agreement gives local customers greater access to worldwide air charter solutions, says a company statement.
ALS Portugal is a company that follows a fifth-party logistics model (5PL) by organising and implementing comprehensive aviation and logistics services and guaranteeing appropriate solutions for the management of all phases of a network supply chain, it adds.
Pierre Van Der Stichele, director of business development at CF, says: “They share in common our focus on excellent customer service and we welcome the opportunity to enhance our coverage in the Portuguese market.”
Anthony Beirao, chief executive of ALS Portugal, says the agreement is a very important step for ALS Portugal. “We are partnering with the world’s leading aircraft charter provider with a proven reputation for competence and professionalism, and a client base that includes multinational companies, governments and humanitarian agencies, as well as private customers and respected figures in the world of entertainment.”
