DSV Panalpina to provide e-commerce logistics for Marimekko

DSV Panalpina has signed a partnership with Finnish fashion brand Marimekko.

As part of the partnership, from 2020, Marimekko’s warehouse operations will be moved to DSV Panalpina’s new warehouse in Vantaa, Finland.

The new warehouse set-up will support Marimekko sales – including wholesale, stores, local and global retail and e-commerce.

DSV and Marimekko have been partners for several years; previously, DSV provided shipping and transportation for the brand. With the newly-signed agreement, DSV Panalpina will handle all of Marimekko’s warehousing operations, including services such as gift wrapping and fabric cutting.

Toni Palmumaa, sales director, DSV Solutions, commented: “As usual, we focused on our customer’s needs and on developing the best possible solution for Marimekko.”
