Flightstar Aircraft Services completes new hangar expansion project

FLIGHTSTAR Aircraft Services, LLC will complete its newest aircraft maintenance hangar at its Cecil Airport (VQQ) headquarters in Jacksonville, Florida on 31 October. The facility design allows for maximum flexibility of fleet types and is capable of accommodating four to seven aircraft from B717 up to the B767. "The addition of this hangar in Jacksonville bolsters our commitment to strategic growth and the use of modern facilities. Flightstar is dedicated to becoming the world leader in outsourced aircraft maintenance and this facility reaffirms that commitment," said President and CEO Jerry Hernandez. Flightstar was recently named one of Florida’s top 100 fastest growing private companies in 2014 by the Florida American City Business Journals
