New charter broker training course launched for the cargo market

The Albion Broker Institute (ABI) has launched a masterclass in cargo brokerage training programme.

The training will consist of eight modules that will explore various areas of the cargo brokerage market.

These include: an introduction to cargo aircraft brokerage, an introduction to the different types of cargo charter aircraft, an overview of the global charter market, how to fix a cargo charter, cargo charter documents and contracts, sales strategies, building a cargo charter broker business and a test followed by career advice.

The training program is delivered through interactive classroom sessions, including presentations, handouts and short module tests.

Delegates will also receive a 40-page handbook that covers each module in detail.

ABI said that upon completion of the two-day training programme, or four evenings, delegates will have the skillset and basic knowledge to operate as cargo charter brokers.
