Pelican signs up new distribution partners in Asia

Pelican BioThermal, a provider of temperature-controlled packaging solutions designed for the life sciences industry, has expanded its presence in Asia by signing up two new distribution partners in the region.
It has joined forces with Pharmaserv Express of the Philippines and CMC Element of China.
Pharmaserv Express transports pharmaceutical products in the Philippines, while CMC Element distributes a variety of healthcare products, including pharmaceuticals protected in temperature-controlled packaging, across China.
The new distributors are expected to enhance customer support for global customers shared with Pelican BioThermal, by offering local hours, local language and local service and inventory at the point of final distribution of pharmaceuticals.
Pelican BioThermal’s growing global network is expected to support customers wherever they are located and establishing productive partnerships with what the company describes as “reliable, reputable, dedicated distributors” further strengthens its offering in this regard.
Benson Teo, Pelican BioThermal’s senior director of sales for Asia, enthused that Pharmaserv Express and CMC Element represent “well-established partners (who) will play a pivotal part in our expansion efforts in Asia.
“As the global cold chain logistics industry continues to thrive we want to further demonstrate we have the critical capabilities to support the growing Asia pharma marketplace.”
Its increasing network of distribution partners on the continent supports Pelican BioThermal’s newly established Asia headquarters, which is co-located with Pelican BioThermal’s authorised distributor for Singapore, Enviropac.
