Cargo-partner establishes tech-focused logistics hub in Vienna

Logistics provider cargo-partner has launched a dedicated facility for high-tech logistics at its headquarters near Vienna Airport.

The new facility offers warehouse space and “tailor-made solutions” such as banking and retail, vending, digital signs, telecommunications, IT and data for a range of industries.

Cargo-partner’s warehouses contain separate zones for storage and handling, as well as dedicated areas for technicians. Security is ensured with the alarms, cameras and motion sensors that have been installed in both the internal and external areas.

Cargo-partner’s new vehicle fleet is comprised of box trucks equipped with sector-specific equipment such as electric stair climbers, telescopic cranes and load distribution plates.

Cargo-partner provides its customers end-to-end solutions including last-mile delivery, customs clearance, transport insurance, supply chain management and IT solutions — in addition to its air, sea, road and rail transport and warehousing offerings.
