CEVA Logistics sets up operations in Sri Lanka

CEVA Logistics has opened a new facility in Sri Lanka to serve clients in the island country, as well as in the Maldives.

CEVA Logistcs customers in Sri Lanka and the Maldives will have access the company’s multimodal services (air, sea and road transportation solutions), IT capabilities and other additional services.

CEVA Logistics’ presence in Sri Lanka is expected to add greater value to the predominantly export-driven Sri Lankan economy, serving industries such as textiles, machinery and electronics.

Fuat Adoran, CEVA’s executive vice president IMEA (India, Middle East, Africa), explained: “CEVA Logistics’ customers will find we are able to deliver more efficient solutions across a greater range of services. Inbound customers will be able to take advantage of the strong domestic network we can now offer across Sri Lanka while exporters in this rapidly emerging economy will now have wider international access for their shipments.”
