Interparfums signs up with Bolloré Logistics for another three years

Perfume and cosmetics manufacturer Interparfums has agreed a deal with France-headquartered global supply chain giant Bolloré Logistics that extends their partnership for a further period of three years: covering 2018, 2019 and 2020.
Bolloré Logistics has been handling supply chain services for Interparfums since 1994.
The logistics partnership started in a 200 sq m warehouse in Petit Quevilly, Upper Normandy. Bolloré then began operating a warehouse of 9,000 sq m in Grand Couronne in 2000 for Interparefums which was subsequently expanded in 2003 to encompass a surface area of 12,000 sq m.
As the company continued to grow, so Interparfums took on an additional 9,000 sq m of space at the facility in 2006. In 2011, activity at Grand Couronne was transferred to Criquebeuf sur seine in a 30,000 sq m building rented by Interparfums.
And, since then, a construction permit for the creation of an additional 6,000 sq m of space has been granted, with the extension planned for the second quarter of 2018. That will bring the facility’s footprint at Criquebeuf sur seine to a total of 36,000 sq m.
The Bolloré Logistics facility in Grand Couronne provides upstream transport from the packers located in the Normandy, Centre Val de Loire and Hauts de France regions of the country, as well as logistics services.
It takes care of unloading, product reception, storage and stock management, ordering and order preparation for France and global destinations by both sea and air. It also handles transport planning, documentation management and returns by means of various to interfacing systems and electronic data interchange (EDI) with Interparfums.
Bolloré Logistics global sales director Olivier Boccara observed of the deal extension: “Interparfums is a historical customer who trusts us.”
Interparfums deputy managing director Philippe Santi added: “Bolloré Logistics has been a key partner in our development for many years.
“Their expertise in the perfumes and cosmetics sector, the quality of their processes and the professionalism of their local teams are for us key factors of success and allow us to offer a powerful service to all our customers worldwide.”
Interparfums has global exclusive licensing agreements with luxury, fashion and accessory brands such as Montblanc, Jimmy Choo, Coach, Boucheron and Van Cleef & Arpels, and also owns Lanvin and Maison Rochas (fashion and perfumes).
