Changi airfreight edges up 1.4% to 2.1m tonnes in 2018

Singapore Changi Airport saw 2018 full year airfreight throughput increase by 1.4% to reach 2.15m tonnes although December saw cargo volumes dip 3.8% versus prior year to 182,000 tonnes. 
Said a spokesperson for the Asian hub: "Growth was observed for airfreight throughput across all segments – exports, imports and transshipments. For the year, the top five markets for airfreight were China, Australia, Hong Kong, the US and India."
