Dubai airfreight tonnage climbs in September

Dubai International Airport saw its airfreight volume rise slightly in September, up 1.9% year on year at 221,213 tonnes.
The total for the first nine months of this year was 1.3% lower than the same period of 2017, at 1.9m tonnes.
The airport noted that flight movements during September increased 1.4% to 33,610. The total for the year so far stood at 306,210 take-offs and landings, representing a decline of 0.5%.
