Frankfurt cargo community to benefit from operational dashboard

The joint venture between software firm DAKOSY and airport operator Fraport has launched a new operational dashboard that aims to make it easier for the Frankfurt cargo community to plan resources.

The Cargo Dashboard service from allivate will display incoming cargo volumes and processes at Frankfurt Airport (FRA) in real time. It is designed to provide participating companies in the Frankfurt cargo community with an overview of current operating conditions so they can better plan use of resources.

“Companies can use this data to assess these conditions realistically, allowing them to adjust their processes if necessary,” Fraport said in a press release.

Martina Schikorr, managing director at the allivate, added: “The Cargo Dashboard supplies at-a-glance information about the entire process chain to all participants. This includes distribution of cargo volumes across the day, current throughput times, infrastructure utilization, as well as the overall process performance.

“The system allows bottlenecks to be identified and for resources to be more efficiently allocated. It also provides customers with reliable insights into performance.”

The dashboard will be integrated into the FAIR@Link platform as part of the digital Cargo Community System.

“Unlike conventional Business Intelligence (BI) dashboards, allivate’s solution integrates data from a range of sources to provide a comprehensive and overarching state-of-play for all participants,” said Fraport.

Allivate was launched at the start of the year with the aim of expanding the FAIR@Link Cargo Community system.
