Frankfurt cargo sees a recovery

CARGO traffic at Frankfurt Airport grew by four per cent in the first quarter of 2014, the hub airport reveals.
“The upward trend in the global economy and the moderate economic recovery in the Euro area has had a positive effect,” says a spokesperson.
Cargo volume rose to 522 026 tonnes in the three-month period. March saw a 3.2 per cent increase at 201,806 tonnes, the first time in three years that the 200,000 mark has been exceeded in a month.
