Frankfurt cargo up 6.9 per cent

FRANKFURT Airport’s cargo business increased by 6.9 per cent to nearly 186,000 tonnes year-on-year in May.
"The strong performance in airfreight solidifies our position as the largest cargo airport in Europe,” says Dr Stefan Schulte, chief executive.
“It underlines the importance of the airport for the
German export economy and for the logistics industry," he adds.
