Frankfurt growth tails off

Frankfurt Airport’s cargo throughput (airfreight and airmail) grew by 1.9% during April to 185,340 tonnes, said operator Fraport. However, the increase was tempered by a slowdown during the Easter period, so growth rates were below those achieved in the year to date.
Passengers surged 10% in April, helped by the timing of this year’s Easter holidays.
