MAG cargo traffic on the up in April

Cargo traffic across the gateways operated by Manchester Airports Group (MAG) rose year on year in April, with London Stansted recording an impressive 12.6% improvement in freight tonnage (20,826 tonnes) passing through the gateway in April compared to the same month of 2015.
At 9,202 tonnes, Manchester Airport’s freight traffic was up by 8.9% year on year, while East Midlands’ cargo throughput rose by 4.4% to reach 27,198 tonnes.
Bournemouth Airport is the fourth gateway that comes under MAG’s wing.
