Strong month for cargo at Changi

Singapore Changi Airport handled 163,150 tonnes of cargo in August, 7.6% up on the same month of 2015.
Including August, Changi has handled 1.27m tonnes of freight so far this year, up 5.2% year on year.
The last three months have seen particularly good results; as well as August’s 7.6% year on year cargo growth, the equivalent figure in July was 9.4% and in June it was 7.8%.
Changi Airport welcomes more than 100 carriers to its runways, connecting Singapore to some 330 cities in about 80 countries and territories worldwide.
