Swissport to handle Astana airport

Airport Management Group and Astana International Airport in Kazakhstan have signed a memorandum of understanding for Swissport International to take over all ground handling in two phases.
A new joint venture, Swissport Kazakhstan, will from May 1 take over passenger handling in Astana and, in a second phase, all other ground handling services by the end of the year, including ramp and de-icing services.
