CEVA gets new Australia facilities

CEVA Logistics has opened new facilities at Hazelmere and High Wycombe in Australia, close to its Perth Airport freight hub.
The new Hazelmere multi-user facility measures 60,000sq m while the new vehicle storage complex at High Wycombe comes in at 40,000sq m.
CEVA said it had constructed the new buildings near the Perth Airport freight hub and key arterial roads including the Roe, Tonkin and Great Eastern Highways.
The Hazelmere site has some 4,600 racking locations, continuous loading docks with dock levellers, a weigh in motion weighbridge, a 4,000 m2 breezeway, advanced materials handling equipment, integrated IT and warehouse management systems, and a bonded warehouse.
The High Wycombe site, which is designed to process some 25,000 vehicles each year, features hail protection nets, an automated car wash and truck height detection sensors.
Customers across the automotive, energy & mining and consumer & retail sectors are the launch tenants of the new facilities.
The sites have also been built incorporating sustainable design features including translucent roof sheeting for natural light, high efficiency warehouse lighting, solar hot water systems, drought resistant landscaping and rainwater harvesting.
