Changes on BIFA board

John Stubbings has succeeded Mark Bromley as the elected national chair of the British International Freight Association (BIFA) for a two-year period.

In addition, Rachel Morley, general manager for operations at BIFA member company Spatial Global, has been elected vice-chair by the BIFA Board. Morley was appointed a director of BIFA in 2017 and chairs the trade association’s Midlands region.

Stubbings has been associated with BIFA for many years, and is currently group director and company secretary at the Woodland Group. He is also Chair of BIFA’s Legal and Insurance Policy Group.

BIFA Director General Robert Keen comments: “John and Rachel’s wide ranging experience in helping to run successful freight forwarding companies will ensure that BIFA and its members will benefit greatly from these new appointments.”
