Dachser opens in Baltimore

The Dachser USA Air & Sea Logistics subsidiary of the German-owned forwarder has opened its third office on the eastern seaboard, in Baltimore.
The new location is two miles from the Helen Delich Bentley Port of Baltimore, and joins existing facilities at New York and Boston.
President and chief executive of Dachser USA, Frank Guenzerodt, said: “Geographically closer to the Midwest than any other Eastern port, the Baltimore office will allow us to keep up with the rapid growth we have seen in that area of the country.”
Dachser USA currently has four offices in the Midwest in Cincinnati, Chicago, Minneapolis and St.  and says it is on track to have 25 locations in the US by 2020.
Dachser’s Baltimore staff include five experienced industry professionals and two licensed customs brokers to assist in compliance regulations, led by branch manager Linda Hastings, who has over 20 years of experiences in the industry.
