Dentressangle appoints US manager for air and sea

French logistics operator Norbert Dentressangle has appointed Christophe Bigot to head up its US air and sea business, boosted in August with the acquisition of major US logistics player Jacobson.
Bigot will build on Dentressangle’s air and sea forwarding expertise in the hi-tech, luxury and fashion goods, aerospace, chemicals and project cargo sectors, both domestically and on the US-Europe, US-Far East and US-South America trade lanes.
Bigot says: “I’m confident that we have the right expertise and the right people in place to continue to advance our position as the supply chain partner of choice for American importers and exporters.”
