Dimerco receives AEO accreditation across China

Taiwan-based freight forwarder Dimerco has received AEO (Authorized Economic Operator) accreditation across China, confirming its status as a leading logistics provider with a proven secure supply chain from shipments’ point of origin to the final delivery destination.

A spokesman at Dimerco explained: “While our AEO certified status was already recognized in many of the major Chinese hubs, we’re delighted that now the independent AEO assurance of Dimerco’s guaranteed quality and security has been extended across the entire country.

“Whatever the location, customers moving goods in or out of China will now enjoy the range of benefits that dealing with an AEO accredited operator confers.”

As a result of Dimerco’s AEO accreditation across China, its customers will now get priority at customs clearance; simplified customs processes; and fewer security and safety related controls. Ultimately, customers using an AEO certified provider such as Dimerco can expect fewer inspections and delays whens sending cargo, resulting in faster, more secure cross-border shipping.

To achieve AEO accreditation, providers are assessed on their finances, site security, shipping procedures, compliance with customs requirements and the diligent fulfilment of relevant legal and safety regulations.
