Jonathan Clark joining AMI as new chief executive

Menzies Aviation has appointed Jonathan Clark as chief executive of Air Menzies International (AMI), its airfreight and express wholesaler subsidiary. Clark takes up the role in January 2018.
He replaces Stephen Koller, who has left the company to pursue other interests.
Clark has long experience in the air cargo sector, and over the past 30 years has held positions with MSAS Cargo International, Lufthansa, Qatar Airways, DB Schenker and most recently with Cargolux Airlines, where he has served as Africa director.
Forsyth Black, president and managing director of Menzies Aviation, said: “We wanted a recognised expert in the cargo market to lead AMI into the next stage of its development – and in Jon, I’m delighted to say that we got him. The road ahead of AMI is an exciting one; I’m sure Jon will relish the opportunity to take the business forward.”
Clark said: “I am truly excited about the prospect of leading AMI, an organization that I have watched grow over the years. Most of all, I am looking forward to be leading a team that is quality-driven, customer oriented and have given AMI an excellent name in the market.
"Myself and the AMI team will concentrate on ways we can innovate and grow the business to be ready for the ever changing customer demands in this very competitive market place.”
