New air cargo head at DB Schenker UK

THE UK arm of global logistics services provider DB Schenker Logistics has appointed Matthias Kraus as its new director of airfreight.
Kraus, who has been working for the DB Schenker Group since 1997, has held several roles including business development manager and assistant to the managing director at Schenker Taiwan.
In 2012, he became general manager of one of the company’s biggest hubs in Nuneaton.
Helgi Ingolfsson, chief executive of Schenker in the UK, comments: “I am particularly pleased to announce Matthias’ appointment. He has a wealth of experience and I am confident that his knowledge and skills will help us grow our airfreight volumes even more and help us to achieve the ambitious objectives we set ourselves in relation to our strategy here in the UK.”
