New VPs at Air Menzies International

Tony Utting (L) and Tibor Fodelmesi

Air Menzies International (AMI) has named Tibor Fodelmesi as vice president Americas and Tony Utting as vice president of Europe, Middle East & Indian Sub-Continent.

Fodelmesi’s career spans 25 years, with posts held at several freight forwarders, including Seko Airfreight, MSAS Cargo International, DHL and most recently head of airfreight USA west region for Panalpina.

“I am delighted to be part of the team at AMI and look forward to growing our business in the Americas,” said Fodelmesi.

Meanwhile, Utting has been in the freight industry for more than 35 years and during that time has worked for a variety of forwarders, including 20 years at DHL Global Forwarding as head of airfreight UK.

Utting praised AMI chief executive Jonathan Clark: “Jonathan and his management team have built an outstanding business, which has been in the UK IATA top ten for many years. I look forward to building on this success and to expand the business further within the EMEI region.”

Clark said of both appointments: “Tibor and Tony’s knowledge and experience will undoubtedly help us to grow our product offering and customer base within their respective regions.”
