Nippon Express exports up by a fifth

Japanese forwarder Nippon Express said that its airfreight exports in September were 23,258 tons, up 20.5% on the same month of 2016. Total air exports for the six months from April 2017 to September 2017 were 129,785 tons, up 27% on the same period of 2016.
Air imports on September 2017 were 38,314 tons, virtually unchanged on September 2016, while for the total for the six months to September 2017 was 235,566 tons, up 3% on 2016.
