Pohl heads Dachser Malaysia

Daniel Pohl, managing director of Dachser Malaysia

German logistics company Dachser has appointed Daniel Pohl as managing director of Dachser Malaysia.

Pohl, who comes from a German-Indonesian family and lived in China for 23 years, brings international expertise to the Dachser country organisation.

He reports to Christophe Vincent, managing director air and sea logistics Thailand, Singapore, Vietnam and Malaysia at Dachser.

After having held different positions at global logistics companies, Pohl joined Dachser in 2010. Most recently, he headed sales in the company’s North China business area.

“My team and I will strongly focus on increasing business activities and Dachser’s footprint in the Malaysian market,” Pohl said, adding: “Regions like Penang and Johor Baru offer huge potential for logistics.”
