Rising star at Crane Worldwide

Specialist logistics company Crane Worldwide has promoted Chris Mitchell from director of global specialized solutions in Asia to vice president, global specialized solutions based in Singapore.
Originating from the UK, Mitchell has been based in Asia since 1998 and has been involved in the development and execution of projects primarily in energy, industrial, oil and gas and infrastructure with global logistics firms, including DHL and UTi.
He joined Crane Worldwide in September 2011 and since 2015 has been regional director for Asia for the group.
In his new role, Mitchell will be the internal subject matter expert to all industries for projects, out of gauge and heavylift shipments including vessel agency, husbandry and marine services.
Crane’s chief sales officer, Tim Zubradt, commented: “Chris Mitchell has driven growth in our company over the past six years managing large and complex projects throughout the Asia Pacific region. Chris will add leadership and support in his new role with a technical and engineered approach and there is no doubt that Chris will continue to broaden our solution offerings.”
