Romaine Seguin named president of UPS Global Freight Forwarding

Romaine Seguin has been appointed president of UPS Global Freight Forwarding.
The role will require her to oversee air, ocean and rail freight forwarding as well as brokerage and supplier management throughout the global UPS network.
Seguin said: “I look forward to working with the Global Freight Forwarding team to continue addressing our customer’s primary concern of visibility into their global supply chain.
“We will continue enhancing our suite of services with improved tracking and actionable insights to ensure our customers can meet their customers’ expectations.”
Seguin has held a variety of operational and managerial roles with UPS since joining the company as a part-time hub supervisor in 1983. As ramp and division manager in Louisville, Kentucky, she was responsible for the opening of the first automated test wing at the company’s global air hub, UPS Worldport.
She has also been managing director of UPS’s Gulf South District and Minnesota District as well as chief operating officer of the UPS Europe, Middle East and Africa Region. Most recently, she was president of the UPS Americas Region.
