Simarco buys two more freight firms

UK forwarder Simarco International has bought out fellow UK firms Formula Goss International (FGI) and Sutch and Searle.
The latter specialises in airfreight at its headquarters at Heathrow Airport. FGI operates air, sea and road routes – including daily services to Italy and Gibraltar – out of offices at Bedford.
Simarco founder and managing director, Simon Reed, commented that both operators had become “renowned for excellence in air freight”.
He added that further purchases were under consideration to round out Simarco’s global transportation presence. The new acquisitions follow the purchase of IFB, in April 2014.
